All the children around the world have a story to tell us: their story, the story of their families, the story of their land…

In our book, the children themselves tell the story. By contributing to writing this great book, together they create a tapestry of tales and legends, country after country.

We want to put solidarity and tolerance into the hands of the children of the world, to give them multicoloured pencils, the colours they carry within them, the colours of their lands. We want to guide their steps, to encourage them, share together a great adventure: writing and illustrating a book, the fruit of their dreams and cultures, imagined by children, for children.

We leave our daily comfort to go on the roads of the five continents, for one year, to open the blank pages of a great book where everyone will find a place. From the schools drowned in the noise of the big cities to the classrooms perched on the roof of the world, we will let ourselves be guided by the love of children and books.

In a world where people are in a hurry to live, we are taking the time to collect a story or a legend, to open doors on the world, to capture the dreams of different cultures, in order to inspire everyone, children and adults, to go and meet others.
